Brighter Days Ahead: Double Win for PolicyStreet at MVCA 2022 Awards

PolicyStreet was named Outstanding Investee Company while its Co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Winnie Chua, received the award for Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur at the Malaysian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (MVCA) 15th Annual Dinner and Awards Night held at Sime Darby Convention Centre on 8 December. The awards signify the company’s excellence and success in the insurtech landscape. 

The Outstanding Investee Company award acknowledges PolicyStreet’s impressive three-year compound annual growth rate, whereas the Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur award recognises Winnie’s contribution to the company as a woman entrepreneur in increasing the company’s visibility and success.

MVCA’s 15th Annual Dinner and Awards Night carried the theme of Brighter Days Ahead, representing the resilience and growth of Malaysia’s venture ecosystem. The event honoured industry players, partners, and entrepreneurs who achieved outstanding milestones in Malaysia’s funding industry in 2021/2022.
