How to Claim

Step 1

Visit Claims Portal and log in with your registered mobile number.

Step 2

Select the item(s) and type of claim(s) to be made.

Step 3

Fill in the details and submit the claim with the supporting documents.

Required supporting documents

When filing a claim for the Electronics Protection Service Program, you may be required to provide the following supporting documents:

1. Product information (e.g., brand, model, serial number)

2. Description of the issue or failure experienced

3. Any relevant photos or videos showcasing the problem

Claim timeframe

1. Claim Submission

Within 14 working days
after the loss/ damage.

2. Claim Approval

Within 5 working days after
submission of documents.

3. Repair & Replace

Standard Repairs will take up to 4 days. Authorised repairers will inform customers of the extensive repair turnaround time.

No. The value-added service package is completely free and is provided as a complimentary benefit of the Product Care Service Programme.

No. You can redeem your promo code without submitting any claims. Promo codes can be obtained via Digital Customer & Claims Portal.

You will receive your claims payout via ShopeePay wallet or bank transfer once your claim is approved. The payout is up to the actual loss amount minus a 10% deductible and is subject to the insured sum cap.

Note: If you choose ShopeePay, your wallet balance and the claim payout must not exceed RM2,999.

No. Your coverage starts from the confirmed delivery date of the eligible item on Shopee. If your item is damaged during delivery, please contact Shopee Customer Service or the seller to initiate a refund process.

A police report is only required for theft claims. The report must verify actual, forcible, and/or violent entry or exit from the premises as confirmed by the attending police officer.

Wear and Tear refers to damage that happens naturally over time. This includes:

  • Shrinking, wearing out, or damage from natural causes like temperature changes, fungus, or pests
  • Damage from the natural wear and tear of the insured item, such as rust, mildew, deterioration, or fading
  • Damage caused by rodents (like guinea pigs, hamsters, rats) or insects

Items eligible for extended Wear & Tear coverage include:

  • Baby items: Clothing, gear, safety products, and related items
  • Home living (furniture): Sofas, wardrobes, desks, tables, and related items
  • Travel & luggage: Luggage
  • Mobile gadgets and accessories

During your coverage period, please keep these supporting documents:

  1. Your purchase invoice
  2. Your digital certificate from PolicyStreet
